DYI Thanksgiving Decor

With Thanksgiving right around the corner I thought I would share some pictures that I am going to use for inspiration for decorating my table and house for the thankful day!

Here we have a pumpkin painted white with flowers inside, with welcome written with a marker. How easy is that? And next to is the same but with gourds!

Next we have a bowl of pine cones. I have these all over my backyard. Paint some and put them in a pretty bowl and whola! or you can string them and hang them over your mantel!
I love the idea of using some of the ingredients for centerpieces that are in your food! Use items you already have and just tie a ribbon around them, light and candle, and there you go!
Below is a classic mason jar painted in fall colors. Add a candle or dried corn husks!
Here are some more pictures for inspiration please let me know what you think! MADE BY CH

Jewelry Box Redo

The first picture is of a jewlery box that one of my friends sent me that she saw on Etsy for $99. I thought hhhmmm I already have a jewelry box just like that, so I re did it! First I painted it white then a pale blue. Next I distressed it with some sand paper. I decide not to add any fabric because I liked the window and being able to see all my pretty jewelry.  Let me know what you think!

Urban Decay Naked Palette

imgres.jpg

A friend of mine has the Urban Decay Naked Palette (the first one) and I loved it so much I had to get it myself.I have brown hair, brown eyes, and an olive skin tone so all of these colors look great. There is a variety of colors to use for a day or night look. Worth all of the money! I thought I would share a how to video that I watched while I was patiently waiting for mine to arrive in the snail mail. And here is a link to buy if you want to try it for yourself too. Please comment below with a pic of how you use the Naked Palette 1 or 2!

Ok so I was just doing some of my normal browsing and thought I would share some of my favorite websites. I am a very cheap girl (so some budget friendly sites) but I am also a dreamer (a little higher priced sites). Enjoy!

Farm Life

My husband is a farmer and we live in an old ranch house surrounded by fields. So below are some of the pictures I have found (mostly from Pinterest) that I am going to use for inspiration for a few projects am I going to do in the next few weeks. Once I complete the projects I will put them on here! Which ones do you like the most?

Thrift Store Find

For my first post I thought I would start out easy and share a really cool clock I found at Goodwill. I am thinking about paiting it. Or should I leave it red? Any thoughts?
